I must say that: this dev is damn cool! First: the colors. They're not too bright, they're not too dark. Then: the trees. Woow! So cute and realistic for a pixel art scene!
I love the posters on the wall of the cinema. And also the graffiti (omg! ). But, probably, the most beautiful thing is the flower shop, it's so tiny and cute! I could stay there all the day. There's only one thing i don't really like: the yellow lines on the street, specially that one covered by the tree, it seems it doesn't stay in the right place . But anyway i like it cause it is detailed and well done in general.

Practice? Oh, I can't wait to see something that isn't "practice" for you . I agree with ~kekko on the colours - not too dark, not too bright. The buildings look very nice, without those harsh black lines.


Now for critique:
The tree tops look weird. Too small for a tree trunk that wide + I've never see a tree top that has a perfect circle shape.
The church and that big white building look strange without any windows. The windows on the other buildings look very good, why aren't there any on these two?
More details? If it isn't the middle of the night there might be some cars or pedestrians on the streets. The flower shop could have some flowers in front of it.
